We thought we would share the process.
The video can be watched on YouTube <<HERE>> (10:22) – forgive the impromptu narrative =-)
This was not that big of a deal to complete. Water barrels were obtained from an add on KSL for $10/barrel.
We had to buy some tools, the barrels and rain gutter materials, etc. Probably cost $150 dollars. There are many waysto complete this process. We felt this was the easiest way with the materials we had available to us.
Based on Utah’s predicted rainfall we could potentially collect 900 gallons of water to use for the garden, feed the chickens, etc.
We hope this inspires you to do more and become more self-sufficient.
